The River Bed is a campground and hostel located at the gateway to the Cherokee national forest and the Ocoee River. We offer simple, private rooms for nightly rental including air conditioned and rustic options. Our primitive camping area is ideal for hammocks or simple tent set ups and the shared bathhouse is just steps away from all of our accommodations. Swap river stories and decompress around our peaceful community fire pit . If the fire isn’t your vibe, our open air barn is a common space ideal for connecting with other adventurers. Whether you’re into board games, music, ping pong or movies, there is something for everyone in The Social Eddy.
We’re conveniently located near a grocery store, gas station and local eateries as well.
Our mission is to create a safe space for outdoor enthusiasts to connect with one another. We believe in healing through nature and community and have curated a place to do just that. The River Bed is the type of place which you can arrive alone but are guaranteed to leave with new friends, paddling partners and adventure buddies.
